Release notes for Cargonio

5 releases between 28 July 2026 and 4 August 2026 — a release every 1.8 days on average. Dated, not numbered: the product ships when something is ready rather than on a version schedule.

A narrated walkthrough

The recorded tour of the working system now talks you through it, and the sign-in screen is down to one form.

  • Improved The product walkthrough on the home page is narrated end to end, so you can follow what is happening on screen without reading along.
  • Improved Signing in is a single email-and-password form.

A public site, and a demo you can open yourself

Everything a buyer needs before a sales call: the price in writing, a recorded walkthrough, and a live workspace to click around in.

  • Added A public site — product pages, pricing, FAQs and a knowledge base — with the price stated openly rather than on request.
  • Added A recorded walkthrough of the real system on the home page.
  • Added A self-serve demo workspace, populated across every module, that anyone can open without an account.
  • Improved The demo seeds itself around the current month, so it opens full of recent work whenever you land on it.
  • Improved Real contact details on the page, so an enquiry reaches a person rather than a form.
  • Improved The site publishes a sitemap and robots file, so the pages can be found in search.
  • Fixed The working year is decided by the dates on a document rather than by a year label, so entries land in the period they belong to.

Sales and Courier, and CSV in both directions

Two more modules built from a working forwarder's own screens, and a way to get your existing spreadsheets in and your lists out.

  • Added A Sales module and a Courier module, modelled screen for screen on a live forwarder's system.
  • Added Payroll screens and a loan voucher in Finance.
  • Added Jobs, invoices and vouchers can be imported from CSV files.
  • Added List screens across the system download their data as CSV.
  • Improved Large dropdowns search as you type, so a long catalog of ports or accounts is a few keystrokes rather than a scroll.
  • Improved A new workspace starts with the general freight catalogs already loaded, instead of an empty setup section.
  • Improved The Chart of Accounts shows who created and last changed each account, and opening balances carry their document dimensions.
  • Improved Job screens, the Air Export invoice header, quotations and the document receipt carry the exact labels and option lists a forwarder's staff already know.
  • Fixed Payroll computes against the correct month.

Imports on setup, and reports that print like the old ones

Migration work: setup data comes in from CSV, and report output lines up column for column with the exports staff are used to.

  • Added Every setup screen can import its data from a CSV file, which is most of a migration.
  • Improved Report output matches the printed exports column for column, so an existing filing routine keeps working.
  • Improved Sea Export and Sea Import local invoices carry every field of the originals.
  • Improved Refunds, Loading Program, Manifests and Other Invoice brought up to the same standard.
  • Improved Finance vouchers, banking and the Management screens match field for field.
  • Improved AWB Stock and the shipment-status dashboards.

First release

Cargonio opens to its first clients: a multi-tenant freight system covering air and sea, export and import, from a booking through to the ledger.

  • Added Air and sea, export and import: quotations, jobs, bills of lading and airway bills, invoicing, a double-entry ledger, payroll and reporting in one system.
  • Added Report filters in the vocabulary a forwarder already uses — date basis, currency mode and opening balance.
  • Improved Initial Setup, Finance Setup and Management screens carry the full field set rather than a subset.
Nothing of that kind in these releases.
