A sea export job is one folder covering the whole shipment: who it is for, how it is routed, what is in the containers, and the master and house bills raised against it. The screen is Transactions Menu (Sea Export) → Jobs Entry and Documents Printing (Sea-Export).
Open a job
- Open the screen. The list carries tabs for Open, Final and Cancelled jobs.
- Press the add button to start a new job folder.
- The form is grouped down the page: Job, Parties, Routing, Consolidation, Master Document (MBL), House Document (HBL), Cargo & Rating, Carriage, the B/L block and Notes.
The Job and Parties blocks
- Job: Job No (leave blank to take the next number), Job Year, Job Date, Branch, Job Type, Quot.Ref No, Load Program No, Nomination and the shipment Status with its date and remarks.
- Parties: Party Code (required), Sub Agent's Party, Associate, SPO, Commodity, Clearing Agent.
Routing and carriage
- Routing: Port of Load, Destination, Wharf, Terminal, Shipping Line, S/Line Agent, Delivery Agent.
- Carriage: Vessel, Voyage, Rotation No., transhipment point, Booking No, Cut Off Date, CY/CFS Cut Off, PickUp/Stuffing, Sailing Date, ETD and ETA.
The container grid
Press + Add container for each box. The row carries Container No, Size/Type, Seal No, ISO Code, Pkgs, Gross Wt, Net Wt, then the haulage columns — Vehicle No, Vehicle Date, Vehicle ETA, Vehicle ATA, CRO Date, Det. Days, Det. Amount and Empty Location.
The house-bill grid
Press + Add house bill for each HBL under the master. The row carries House No, Date, PP/CC, Pcs, UOM, CBM, Gross Wt, Net Wt, Chg Wt, Shipper, Consignee and Run No. A consolidation carries several; a straight job carries one, or none if the header HBL block is enough.
Save and print
- Press Save Job (or Save Changes when editing).
- Back on the list, use 🖨 Print against the row. The menu offers the forms that apply to this job: Bill of Lading, House Bill of Lading, Job Sheet, Delivery Order, and — on a consolidation — Manifest and Loading Program.
- Where the job carries several house bills, each one is offered by number in its own right.
