Air waybill stock

Recording the AWB numbers an airline has given you, and watching what is left.

Air waybill numbers arrive from the airline in blocks and are consumed one at a time by air export jobs. The screen — Transactions Menu (Air Export) → Air Waybill Stock (Received From Airline) — is the register of what you hold.

What the screen shows

Air Waybill Stock
  • Three counters at the top: Total, Used and Un-Used.
  • Two add buttons: + Single AWB Row and + Give AWB Stock.
  • A search block with Received Date From and Received Date To, and a Search button.

Record a block

  1. Press + Give AWB Stock.
  2. Fill in the airline, the starting number and Total No. Of AWBs Given.
  3. The AWB To Write box fills itself in as you type — it is the list of numbers the block works out to, so you can check it against the airline's paperwork before committing.
  4. Press Give Stock.
Note For a single number that arrived on its own, use + Single AWB Row and press Save Row.

What is left

Available AWB Stock is a separate menu entry showing only the unused numbers — the list to work from when allocating a number to a job. Rows can be removed from the register with Remove.
