The working context is a fiscal year plus a branch. It is chosen once and applies app-wide: operational lists filter on it, new documents are numbered under it, and report screens default their own year and station pickers to it.
Switching
- Find the two selectors at the top of any operations screen — a calendar icon for the fiscal year, a building icon for the branch.
- Pick a year. The list is ordered newest first and shows each year's label.
- Pick a branch, or leave it on All branches to see every station's work at once.
- Each selector submits on change; the page reloads under the new context.
What a fiscal year is
A fiscal year is one accounting year for the workspace, named by its two end years — 2627 means July 2026 to June 2027. Exactly one year is the current one; that is the one a fresh session starts on.
What a branch is
A branch — the source calls it a station — is an operating office. It carries its own document settings (see "Setting up your company"), its own numbering series for vouchers, and its own slice of the job and document lists. Users can be restricted to particular branches; see "Freight Users, User Roles and User Category".
