Company details are held per branch, on Management → Settings. Everything on that screen applies to the branch named at the top of it, so a two-office forwarder fills it in twice.
Add a branch
- Open Management → Settings.
- Press + Add Branch.
- Give the branch a Code and a Name. Two tick boxes control whether it is active and which branch is the default.
- Press Save.
Note
The Code is what appears in the branch selector and is stamped onto job, document and voucher numbers, so keep it short — KHI, LHE, ISB.
Fill in the settings
With a branch selected the screen shows its settings, grouped the way the source groups them.
| Group | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Company | Company Name — the name printed at the head of documents. |
| Smtp Host, Smtp Port, Smtp Email and Smtp Password, plus the Email and Cc Email that document mail is copied to. | |
| Numbering & tax | Invoice/Job No. Abbreviation, HAWB No. Abbreviation, the four HBL number Parts, and the Tax Type with its Rate. |
| Signatories | Cheque Signatory-1 and its companions, chosen from the Signatory Codes file. |
| Addresses | Four lines each for the airport and the seaport office, as they print on documents. |
| Templates | C/N SMS Template, C/N Email Template and Rate Inquiry Template. |
- Work down the groups filling in what applies to this branch.
- Press Save settings. The note beside the button confirms which branch you have just changed.
What to set up next
- The chart of accounts — Group Codes, Control Codes, then Chart of Accounts.
- The code files your desks key against: parties, destinations, charge codes, container types.
- Auto J.V Finance Codes Setup, so finalised documents know which accounts to post to.
- Users, and the rights each of them holds.
